what i could live without

If I had to choose what I could live without it'd probably be a television. I have so many other things that I could be doing that not having a t.v. would not bother me.
The one thing I could never live without would be my family and friends. That is the one thing that I would miss most because family is that one thing your born with. You wouldn't be who you are if you didn't have them.
Materialistically, I could not live without a cell phone. This summer I would have had a lot of bad turn outs if I couldn't have called my mom or someone to come help me. Cell phones have created a kind of security for people. I know that when I go somewhere my mom is only a phone call or text message away. I really think it'd be hard to live without that safety anymore.

Avoiding Injuries

My freshmen year I had these two great friends who liked to to a lot of stupids things. (They still do...) So one time we decided that since no one wanted to drive to Norris Lake, we were gonna ride bikes all the way there. Unfortunately we only had two bikes and three people. Luckily, one of the bikes had pegs that I got to ride on because I was the smallest. One the way there something rubbed on my leg until it started to burn. I had been on a bike with pegs and a wheel that had been bent sideways! My leg was burnt in two places. Now, two years later the scars are pretty easy to notice when I wear shorts. If I would have sucked it up and waited a few more hours we would have gotten a ride and been able to go swimming without a scratch (or a burn)....

five facts

1. I can play the flute. Not well but I have stayed with it for 6 years now. With my short attention span that's a big deal.
2. My favorite person in the entire world is a three year old. My cousin Ainslie is one of the most important people in my life. She's always such a happy little kid and it just makes life around my dramatic family a lot more fun. Plus I love spoiling people and she's the only little girl in the family besides my sisters.
3. I used to know a lady that made popcorn scented candles. Since then I have hated the smell of popcorn.
4. My best friend is also one of the dumbest people I have ever met. She is very naive and she really doesn't know it. I love her to death but leaving her alone is not a very good idea because with freedom comes her stupidity. She is a smart girl and I couldn't live without her but sometimes she needs to see reality instead of fantasy. The funny thing is that she would probably say the same thing about me.
5. When I was a kid my family had me and then they had four boys. Until I was eight years old I was the only girl in the family. So, I was a tomboy. My uncle is the same age as me (long story there) and we used to tell him that we were gonna buy him a dress because I was tougher than he was. It's hard to believe that now, because as soon as puberty hit I turned into the biggest girl ever.

Define success

Success to me is really more of a state of mind rather than what someone is. If you are happy with who you are and what you have accomplished then you have become successful. People believe that money is the root to all success but in reality it is completely opposite. Money cannot buy your happiness. I have been told all my life that becoming a lawyer or a doctor will make me successful and comfortable in life, yet I would not be happy with becoming that person. I really would like to be comfortable in life but I do not want to go through life doing something I cannot enjoy. I believe that you become successful when you except the person you are.
